Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021

Another year means another Nordstrom anniversary sale. As I did last year, I’m dramatically reducing how much i’m sharing and will for sure be sharing alternatives as things go along. The things I share will be mostly things you can only get during the sale at Nordstrom. I think if you are looking at the sale as a whole, you can’t lose on nordstrom exclusive products and brands. I know a lot of people who do their Christmas shopping during this sale which is really smart. The big influencers will share a ton of fashion content with you but buyer beware! Unless you live in a climate where it starts getting cool in August, (lucky you!) by the time you get around to wearing those cosy sweaters and suede ankle boots they will be available at other stores who carry the same brands. Sometimes you can get these items for the same price as they were during the sale or even less. And if you wait until November, if the same sale pattern happens that did last year, we should see a very different Black Friday Sales cycle with many brands starting as early as October. So don’t stress if you miss out on something! 95% of what you will find in this sale, you can find at other stores later.

Beauty

The top picks I have which are every year the best deals are the beauty picks. I have selected a few items I used daily that are a great deal during the Nsale. Can you buy these things on sale at other times of year also? Yes. Sephora runs random sales. Macy’s runs a quarterly friends and family sale where you can get 15% percent off these items individually but not necessarily in these larger packages that were specifically made for the Nsale. You can also get these products on sale randomly on brand sites and Bloomingdale’s. So it just depends on whether you are ready to shop now or later.

Jewelry

I love a good bit of costume jewelry but I have tried to move into more high quality and sustainably made pieces as of late. I already own the studs which you will have seen on many an outfit post. They are my go to everyday studs. I have also included some gold plated pieces from brands I already own the same or similar pieces of. I will for sure be picking up the the Monica Vinader Charm and possibly one of her luxury bracelets. I included the bauble bar hoops set for those looking for a cute bit of costume jewelry that’s higher quality than your Amazon costume jewelry but still affordable.

Accessories

There will be a ton of hype around the boots. Most will sell out. Most you will find on other sites later if you are not ready now. However, last year I missed out on the black Karl Lagerfeld boots and could not find them at any other stores after the sale. So I will be picking them up this year for sure. I also already own the Timberland boots in the grey. I highly recommend them. I am also picking up the Madewell scarf because Madewell rarely has sales. Quay has frequent sales on their website and they go on sale at the department stores that carry the brand. However, the sales on their site are often bogo style so I prefer this option for paying less than their typical bogo. The Longchamp bag is a new design that I will be interested to see roll out to other stores. But right now, this is a new style not carried anywhere else. Only time will tell if that remains the case.

Fashion

As I do every year I primarily dig into the sweaters for the clothing part of the sale. I did pick a couple of robes. I feel the quest for the perfect robe is so personal so I always like to include those. The Nordstrom Brand one I already own and it’s great. You will see many people pointing to Amazon for dupes of several of these items. If you want the look and not quality, go with Amazon. If you want Quality and clothes to last, go with my picks below. You get what you pay for. I have also inserted photos below of me in the barefoot dreams sweater and suede jacket from my previous year’s sale purchases. No regrets. I love them both and can’t wait to get back in them this Fall. I also linked the 1.state tank shown in the photos below. It is not a part of the sale this year, a different pleated version is. But I think either option is a great basic and the ones I have wash easily and have word extremely well. You have seen me in these tops over and over on my youtube channel as well.

Blanc NYC Jacket and Hunter Boots

Featuring the annual faux suede moto jacket paired with the annual hunter boots. I bought these in previous years so you will notice this years version is slightly different but still a great buy!

Barefoot Dreams

The forever essential sweater. I have purchased these on sale and outside of the sale. I see no difference in quality or wear. All my Barefoot dreams sweaters have held up well and carried me through multiple seasons. If you look closely you can also catch my essential Nordstrom stud earrings.
